How to watch movies at home without going to the DVD store? For our generation, this question does not arise. But before, it was almost essential to go to the video store to get the new film that we have been waiting for months. And we were lucky if someone had not rent it before us. That is why, in 1997 Reed Hastings and Marc Randolph created Netflix, a contraction of terms “Internet” and “Flix” (a familiar way to say film, movie in English). A site for renting DVDs. It is in 2007, that this brand launched streaming allowing subscribers to instantly watch films or series. And gradually Netflix became world-famous and reached more than 200 million subscribers worldwide.

These games will appear on the news feed alongside the other categories through the Netflix app or site. It will be possible to have more information about it and download the game on Google Play. Of course, as explained the brand, games will be free, included in the subscription. And without adds or in-app purchases.For the moment, only subscribers in Poland can play. « Starting today, members in Poland can try Netflix mobile games on Android with two games – Stranger Things 1984 and Stranger Things 3 – all as part of their membership. It’s still very, very early days and we’ll be working hard to deliver the best possible experience in the coming months with our ad-free, no in-app purchases approach to games, » Netflix said in a statement.
With competitors such as Amazon Prime or Disney+, the streaming market is intensifying. Even if, Netflix gained subscribers during the sanitary crisis, it is essential for them to make the difference and maintain competitive advantage. Therefore, they decided to diversify their offer in the way to keep their subscribers and obtain new ones.
This is the same platform technology used for movies and series, subscribers will be able to see games on the news feed and downloaded them directly on their phone.
For the moment, Netflix has recently launched this offer in Poland. The results are not yet known.
